Simple Abstract Wall Art DIY
Hey there, fellow DIY-ers!
For a while now, I've been staring at this pretty mantle we have wondering what the heck I could do with it to make it pop a little more and make it the center of attention in our living room. I wanted to put some artwork up, but I SUUUUPER didn't want to spend any money so I came up with this super simple DIY wall art.
Let's be real...probably a five-year-old could make this, so I'm definitely not pretending it's magnificent on any level. Buuuut, it is sort of pretty AND it looks great in our space.
I bought some watercolor paper (to add texture) at a craft store for a couple of bucks and used some black acrylic paint I already had. I just painted brush strokes starting from the bottom to the top and did it in a sort of random way. I framed it with a cheapie frame from Wal-Mart that cost me a total of $5, I think?
And there you go. Super simple DIY Wall Art insp for your next home "project" (but really this took like five minutes to do).
